LATELY

Late winter/ early spring 2016: Chicago

Early spring of 2016 brought me (reluctantly) back to Chicago. I moved into a beautiful apartment with a wall of windows in my bedroom, and lived for the second time with total strangers. (The last time had only truly been for about a week, anyhow).

Logan square was a good place for me to walk around and see. I became interested in religious lawn art, it was everywhere in the neighborhood.

January, February, and March are the worst winter months in Chicago. This year was shockingly mild compared to my previous years in Chicago, but still I did not take very many photos.

I began shooting for Sunglasses on a Cloudy Day, and many of the photos I did take during this time ended up in the book. (You can buy one of the few that I still have on my Etsy page: VeraBenschopStudio)

Without further ado, here is late winter/ early spring 2016 in Chicago
